  25. I’m very thankful for my family, first and foremost — my husband, parents, and sisters. But after that, well, I’m very thankful for my books!! Of course, God has been the source of my supply, because if he weren’t keeping me healthy, I wouldn’t be able to work to make money to buy books! I’m very thankful to Him for my family and my books!!   43. I’m very grateful for my family. 4 days before Thanksgiving last year I unexpectedly lost my dad. It was the most horrible holiday I’ve ever had. This year is hard but it makes me more thankful for the family I do have. They bring me happiness. I’m also really thankful for books. They take my mind out of difficult real life problems. I’m also grateful for all these wonderful blogs that are participating in these giveaways. Sharing and giving means a lot to people who otherwise can’t afford to buy a book.   46. For a loving family. My mother-in-law is in ICU with pneumonia. She has a breathing tube breathing for her and sedated. Family has flown in to be with her and her husband right now. They are the best, I’m grateful for them.

  47. 15 years ago next month, I had a bone marrow transplant (BMT) for leukemia. I’m thankful for my life and for my bone marrow donor–my brother.

  139. On November 18th my 6 year old son was hit by a car on his way to the bus stop while I watched from my living room window. The car was going 25-30 mph when it hit him. By the time I got outside to him the car was already driving away. It’s a miracle that he walked away with only a nasty bump on the head and some horrible bruises. The doctors at the trauma center said it was a miracle he landed on top of the car because if he went under it he would have been killed. I’m so thankful that he is okay. I’m also thankful for the firemen and police officers that came to his rescue, the trauma team who made sure my baby was okay, and the amazing nurses who kept my son calm while we were unable to be with him as well as my husband I. Thank you, thank you!!
