Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop for 2017, hosted by Bookhounds.

The leprechaun may be hiding a pot of gold at the end of his (or her) rainbow, but I haven’t found it yet. And if I did my cat, Freddie the Fredinator, would probably knock it over!

I may not be Irish, but I’m lucky enough to participate in this hop. Maybe you’ll get lucky too. I’m giving away the winner’s choice of a $10 Gift Card from Amazon or a $10 Book from the Book Depository.

  1. I’d have to say that as far as being lucky so far this year goes…that I’d have to go with the fact that I haven’t been hospitalized due to any of my health conditions yet (and hoping) and that I’ve been blessed to have spent so much time with my children and grandchildren.

  2. Thanks for the giveaway; the luckiest thing that has happened to me this year is learning how to paddleboard. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I confess that I’m the kind of person who’s always waiting for the other shoe to drop, so I feel lucky when something terrible hasn’t happened. Yet. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. The other day I dropped my ipod at the relay for life even I was participating. It was pouring with rain, the track was very muddy. I was lucky because somebody picked it up and handed it in and it wasn’t destroyed by being stepped on or getting wet and muddy. Thanks for the chance.

  5. Wow – sad to say but nothing really lucky so far this year for me directly. I guess I would say finding out I’m going to be a grandma again would be the closest.

  6. I thought for some time about lucky things, even small things, and came up with nothing. It’s been a very, very difficult couple of years. I would say that I am fortunate to have basic medical coverage, and a place to live.

  7. Dental work! We got a monetary windfall, and I’m getting some long overdue, badly needed, work done.

  8. So many things happened that made me feel lucky. The most precious is finally having all members of my family live in the same state after 15 years of separation.

  9. The luckiest thing that’s happened to me this year has been seeing friend’s I hadn’t seen in a couple of years.

  10. I consider myself lucky everyday. I , hubby and my 2 daughters are happy and healthy and I think thats the most important thing in the world!

  11. I would have to say is finding a sense of peace and purpose this year that has eluded me for quite some time.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  12. Honestly, this year hasn’t been super lucky for me lately. This month, I’ll be at my current job for 6 months, so that’s something ๐Ÿ™‚

  13. I got lucky that I didn’t need to go to jury duty, it was canceled they never need me anyway. That’s how my year started, for 2 months I was thinking I had to go to jury duty.

  14. The luckiest thing that has happened to me this year has been finding a big crystal lamp at the Goodwill store for under $15 to light up my living room!

  15. The luckiest thing to happen to me: I’ve been working under contract and my contract has been extended through the end of the year. On top of that, a full-time employee just quit, so that should open a spot for me to get on full-time quicker than that. I’m pretty happy about that. I’ll take it. Thanks for the contest. I hope you had a great St Patrick’s Day.
