Stacking the Shelves

I picked up more books from the library than NetGalley and Edelweiss this week. I was inspired by other things I read (or did) and just had to get the books. After loving The Chilbury Ladies Choir, it seemed like a good time to get The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. I also finished up an “Author Read Alike” article for Novelist about Jacqueline Winspear, and the Maggie Hope series fit right in. About the Beatriz Williams/Juliana Gray? After reading The Wicked City a couple of weeks ago, I discovered that all her books are loosely connected. Not exactly a series but not exactly not, either. Which made me hunt for the earlier ones. Of course it did.
