Welcome to the first Stacking the Shelves of the new year! It’s hard to believe that it’s 2018 already. I remember as a kid doing the math to determine how old I’d be at the turn of the millennium – and thinking that it sounded way old. Now we’re 18 years past 2000, and the time has flown by. As Groucho Marx famously said, “Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.”

I can relate to not having the first book in a series. I recently found an old series at a thrift shop that I really want to read. Of course, they had all but book one. Now I need to hunt that one down. :)J
