The Sunday Post AKA What’s on my (Mostly Virtual) Nightstand 3-10-19

Sunday Post

Did you remember to “Spring” your clocks forward last night? Or did your clocks take care of that themselves? And isn’t the whole concept of “Daylight Saving Time” getting just a bit ridiculous?

Review-wise, this week turned out to be pretty interesting, just not necessarily in a good way. It began and ended with books that I much anticipated – only to have them both fall more than a bit flat. C’est la reading vie. Your mileage, of course, may vary. A tremendous number of people thought that both books were the bee’s knees, but for me they just didn’t live up to their predecessors.

  1. ‘And isn’t the whole concept of “Daylight Saving Time” getting just a bit ridiculous?’

    ^A resounding YES!

  2. I would prefer not to have to switch the clocks anymore. I would hope that at some point we could have gotten away from doing that. Like I think spring is the best time to keep as the always time.
    Have a great week! 🙂

  3. I’m tired of DST. We are reading many of the same books! I read Wild Country and The True Queen. I also read Mahimata and Titanshade. I definitely liked Sorcerer to the Crown better than The True Queen, or at least I missed the characters from the first book. And I would say I enjoyed Markswoman a bit more than Mahimata. The second books were both good but not quite as good as the first ones for me. On the other hand, Wild Country was better than the previous one for me. So happy reading!
