Dashing Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Dashing Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mama the Fox!

The graphic kind of gives it away, doesn’t it? “Dashing through the snow, on a one-horse open sleigh…”

Or maybe “Now Dasher! now Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!…”

But before you “dash away, dash away! dash away all!” take just a minute to enter the rafflecopter for your chance at either a $10 Amazon Gift Card or a $10 Book from the Book Depository – to give you something to while away some of the quieter moments this busy holiday season.

  1. My favorite is chanukah, oy chanukah in Yiddish since I sang it when I was a young girl celebrating Chanukah with my family.

  2. I love Twas the Night Before Christmas! My dad would read it every Christmas Eve – with his Santa Hat and Santa voice!

  3. I still have most of A Visit from Saint Nicholas memorized from the third grade. I love reciting it.

  4. My favorite Christmas song is “Last Christmas” 🙂 I can’t wait to see Emilia Clarke’s movie (with the same title) this year.

  5. I’ve always loved “Carol of the Bells” because it was so much fun to sing in the choir 🙂

  6. I like the song ‘White Christmas’. It reminds me of the movie and it’s also my favorite Christmas movie.

  7. Rudolph the red nose reindeer! When I was small we were in a restaurant minding our own business when a man singing songs asked me “and what is your name lovely little girl”? The then proceeded to dedicate his next song to me “Rudolph the red nose reindeer”. I was so embarrassed and felt very awkward with him singing it to only me in the whole restaurant. So I’ll never forget the song.

  8. My favorite Christmas song is Silver Bells, because it’s the one my mother would always sing when she was doing the Christmas baking.

  9. My favorite holiday story is “Annabelle’s Wish”. I cry every single time the cow gives up her dreams for the little boy!

  10. My favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. Whenever I watch the Charlie Brown Christmas movie, I always smile. At the end when the children realize the true meaning of Christmas and sing ‘Hark, the Herald Angels Sing’, I love to see their little round mouths as they look up to the sky.

  11. My kids and I love to Listen to Kids Christmas Songs. Don’t really have a particular favorite one, though. My Toddler loves the Toddler Tunes ones. a little more upbeat and fun.

  12. My favorite holiday movie is White Christmas.

My favorite holiday song is “Rejoice with Exceeding Joy.”

  13. Frosty the Snowman has been my favorite since I was a little girl! We make a snowman every year. Oddly, we have had no snowfall in Michigan yet, but I’m sure it’s coming!

  14. The original Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer story. I actually read a very good article about how it was created before the days of Montgomery Wards getting involved.

  15. I love so many of the Christmas songs. But I have always really liked Little Drummer boy. Thank you
