Leaping Leprechauns Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Leaping Leprechauns Giveaway Hop, hosted by Review Wire Media and Chatty Patty’s Place!

The image that most people have of St. Patrick’s Day, at least in the U.S., is either leprechauns, parades, or possibly bars. Although, since St. Patrick’s Day is a Tuesday this year, maybe no so many bars this time around.

But I lived in Chicagoland, the greater Chicago area, for, let’s just say a lot of years. So my own personal image of St. Patrick’s Day is always this one, when they dye the Chicago River bright, brilliant green!

But on this hop, in anticipation of St. Patrick’s Day, you have the opportunity to win just a little bit of green yourself. Either in the form of a $10 Amazon Gift Card or a $10 Book from the Book Depository. All you have to do is fill out the rafflecopter below.

  1. A wonderful little Irish pub in my town called The Irish Rover with the best pub bites outside of Ireland.

  2. Going to a local eatery and having corned beef sandwiches. There was also Irish music and dancers going thru the restaurant. I would go with my parents and my husband and family friends.

  3. Green, leprechauns, shamrocks, luck, Irish…I could probably keep going lol.

  4. St. Patrick is the patron saint of ceramic engineers so while at Alfred University we would have a St. Patty’s Day Parade. We ceramic engineers would really have a “good” time :). SO I think of that every year.

  5. My favorite color is GREEN, so St. Patricks’ day is the one day of the year I can be comfortable wearing green head to toe.

  6. When I think about St. Paddy’s Day I think about making sure to wear green so I don’t get pinched. haha

  7. Great memories of downtown San Jose, CA (Back in the day) when the parade and food fest were so much fun and the food was so yummy!

  8. “What comes to mind when you think of St. Patrick’s Day?” The color green.

  9. I think of my great grandmother who came here from Ireland and how corned beef and cabbage wasn’t something they ate there.

  10. A pretty nice holiday that brings people together! The first things that come to mind are shamrocks.

  11. I think of shamrocks and St. Patrick himself – as a snake hater, I love the story of him driving the snakes out of Ireland!

  12. We have a huge parade here in Bay City, Michigan and so I think of that immediately. So many people dress up and go to watch. It’s a lot of fun!

  13. I think of wearing green (or you’ll get pinched!), drinking too much, eating corned beef and cabbage, four-leaf clovers, green beer, singing the song “Oh Danny Boy”, Kiss Me, I’m Irish buttons and shirts, everyone is Irish on March 17th!

  14. What comes to mind when I think of St. Patrick’s Day is green beer. Thanks for the giveaway!

  15. I think of a wonderful Ethnic Celebration that has become a National tradition for all Americans.

  16. I always think of my Irish friend, Colleen on St. Patty’s Day. I also think of the color green and green beer.

  17. What comes to mind when you think of St. Patrick’s Day?

    alot of green and drinking…..

  18. Taking my grandchildren to the St. Patrick’s Day parade and seeing their excitement about receiving the candy being thrown to them

  19. On the fun side, I think of beer and dyed green rivers. On the serious side, I think of the struggles of famine many Irish faced in Ireland and then the discrimination the Irish immigrants faced when they came to America.

  20. I usually think where is my green shirt I need to wear to work on St. Patricks Day!!
