Stacking the Shelves (473)

Yes, I preordered the audio of The Discord of Gods seriously, seriously early. I mean, really, I only have FIVE months to wait. I have an eARC, so I might start early. BUT this seems to be one of those series that just works better for me in audio. So I’ll probably wait. The other book that really caught my eye is The Ballad of Perilous Graves. I always love a good New Orleans story and this looks like a doozy.

  1. I hadn’t realised that Brian McClelland had a new book out. I loved his previous books so need to keep a look out for this new one.

    1. If you love epic fantasy, the Jenn Lyons series is absolutely made of win. They’ve all been just SO GOOD and seem to get better as they go. I can’t wait to see how she wraps it all up! There’s been LOTS of buzz about the Janelle Monae book so I’m really curious to read it. Fascinating that you have a bit of a connection. New York Minute just looks cute, doesn’t it?
