We always feel lucky this time of year at our house, as our wedding anniversary occurs during this particular hop. It will be 17 years this March 12, and we still ask each other how we got so lucky.
As I’m typing this, Lucifer popped up on my desk to remind me that he feels lucky too, as he was living outside before a friend of ours rescued him and gave him to us. He still comes up to one of us to seemingly thank us before he eats. What was surprising was that while our friend Arlene was here he decided that she was also an acceptable human to receive his pre-meal gratitude. So he made the rounds before he ate.
So we feel lucky, he feels lucky. All our cats are lucky because they are rescues. What about you? Do you feel lucky? Is there something or someone in your life that reminds you that you are lucky?
