May Flowers Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the May Flowers Giveaway Hop this week, this time hosted by Review Wire Media and Chatty Patty’s Place!

If April Showers bring May Flowers, then what do Mayflowers bring? The correct answer is “pilgrims” but the wrong answers I got a couple of months ago were a lot funnier.

My favorite May flowers are peonies, even though they aren’t all that prevalent here in the Atlanta area. We don’t always get a cold enough winter for long enough for them to do well. But back in Chicago, they bloom in May and are always big and gorgeous and smell wonderful.

What about you? What are your favorite “may flowers”, or what flowers mean May or Spring to you? Answer in the rafflecopter for a chance at either a $10 Amazon Gift Card or $10 in books.

  1. I like crocuses in the spring. They were always the first wildflower to bloom at the dog park.

  2. Lilacs are my favorite flower period, the pale purple ones in particular but I do love them all. They bloom in May and are usually gone by June

  3. My Gerber Daisies always remind me of May. They always bloom this time of year.

  4. Tulips–my favorite flower. (But peonies are lovely, too.)

Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. Enjoy your spring.

  5. My favourite flower is a Daisy and it reminds me of May because I was married in May and daisies were my bridal flower 🙂 Thanks for giving.

    Besos, Sarah.

  6. I like many kinds of flowers, but I don’t associate any of them with May. Those peonies you like are gorgeous 🙂 .

  7. May always reminds of all the small dogwood trees with it’s purple flowers that suddenly pop up along all of West Virginia’s country roads. Mix those in with the bunches of wild white serviceberrys blooming, it is natures most beautiful time of year there!
