I think this would be a perfect Halloween week read. It has everything, gothic horror, living houses, creepy monsters, creepy humans, inexplicable happenings and humans behaving very badly. If you like this kind of book, you might want to take a look at A House with Good Bones because I’m pretty sure it’s next door.
