Pretty is NOT as pretty does in this week’s stack. At least not completely. Why? Because the prettiest covers are A Forbidden Alchemy, The Manor of Dreams and The River Knows Your Name (I absolutely do like my blues!) and Promise Me Sunshine. The Manor of Dreams verges on horror, but it still has a pretty cover. I’d also give an honorable mention to Typewriter Beach as it feels very classic and just right for its time period. It’s also the book I’m most curious about in this stack.
The books I’m most looking forward to are The Misplaced Physician and the whole Kate Stark series. We’ll see how my anticipation is met in the coming months.
What’s in your stack this week?
