Today is Mother’s Day in the United States and Canada, as well as a host of other countries. So Happy Mother’s Day if this is a day that you celebrate.
Meanwhile, yesterday we experienced a phenomenon that we haven’t had to deal with since we left Seattle. There was an earthquake in Tennessee that was felt down here in the ATL. It was only 4.1 at the epicenter, so all it did this far away was rattle the house for a second, but it was still quite something to wake up to!
While the quake was too brief to actually snap a picture of any of the cats, this picture is probably pretty close to what the boys must have been experiencing in the moment as both of them have ‘resting worried face’ even when conditions are normal – which obviously they were not.
Here’s hoping that your own Mother’s Day has as much ‘shake, rattle and roll’ as you desire – but not a bit more. Happy Mother’s Day!
