Stacking the Shelves (656)

This week’s stack doesn’t have a case of the blues. It has a case of the reds – and the pinks! Four really bright red covers, Mask of the Deer Woman, A Pretender’s Murder, Pony Confidential and The Retirement Plan, along with Salt Bones if you don’t mind a touch of orange in with your red. AND Book Boyfriend, Didn’t You Use to Be Queenie B? Let’s Call Her Barbie and Murder in the Dressing Room on the pink side. Almost half the stack!

But I’m not quite sure that ‘pretty’ is the right label for any of the covers in this bunch. Pretty interesting? Absolutely. The Retirement Plan certainly caught my attention, as did Mask of the Deer Woman, although in completely different ways. The book I’m most looking forward to in this stack is A Pretender’s Murder, because I LOVED the first book in the series, A Gentleman’s Murder, and I’m hoping that this second book is every bit as good – if not better!

What’s top of mind or just at the top of, your stack this week?

  1. My virtual shelf is kind of interesting at the moment. I was approved for several books by authors I love, but somehow the books aren’t doing it for me! I’ve just started Dancefloor by Victor Jestin and I’m enjoying it. Thanks for the link-up
