This was certainly a much better reading week than last week. Which turned out to be an excellent thing with this heat wave as the best thing to do on days like EVERYONE has had is to curl up in the A/C with a good book, a cold drink, and a cuddly cat.
Howsomever, as you are reading this our cats probably all have expressions on their faces to match Hecate’s. She’s looking down at an empty bed because her people are away at the ALA Annual Conference in Philadelphia, where it’s predicted to be every bit as hot as it is here in the ATL if not a bit more. I’m sure we’re already looking forward to coming home, as we miss them when we’re away every bit as much as they miss us – even if they do have regulars carers on tap.
