Stacking the Shelves (661)

This time around the pretty covers jumped right out at me. I always love the blue covers and The Book of Heartbreak and A Dance of Lies are simply gorgeous. The book I picked up for the title, because it made me laugh, is Let’s Give ‘Em Pumpkin to Talk About, and I’m really looking forward to it because it looks like fun. I’m also curious about The Shakespeare Secret because it just sounds fascinating.

And this is another one of those weeks where the book I would normally be most anticipating I’ve actually already read and that’s Haze by Katharine Kerr. It’s a terrific standalone space opera and I can’t wait to share my thoughts about it.

What about you, what’s in your stack that you can’t wait to read?

  1. Haze is the one that immediately caught my eye so I’m looking forward to reading your review.

  2. Family & Other Calamities caught my eye! I clicked through and it sounds wonderful! Thank you for the recommendation

  3. This Princess Kills Monsters,A Dance of Lies, and A House of Frost and Feathers stand out in terms of books I want to read but I also love the covers for the first two! I also agree with you that The Book of Heartbreak is gorgeous, I love the style of covers that have so many little details like tile patterns like that.
