Stacking the Shelves (662)

The creepy turns out to be the pretty in this week’s stack, with Cradle of Secrets and Honeyeater both catching my eye for how beautiful the covers are – even though the descriptions of the stories inside creep me right out! For a pretty cover that isn’t also creepy, I’m looking at Framed in Death, the OMG 61st book in J.D. Robb’s In Death series. Which is also the book I’m most looking forward to reading, along with, to no one’s surprise at all, We’ll Prescribe You Another Cat – which might as well be the story of my life!

The two books I’m really curious about, for entirely different reasons, are The Last Hour Between Worlds and Space Ships! Ray Guns! Martian Octopods! In the latter case for all of the reasons listed in the title.

What about you? What are you most captivated by in your stack this week?
