Stacking the Shelves (665)

Without a doubt, the prettiest cover in this week’s stack is The Midnight Bookshop. Spellcaster is mostly pretty, but a bit creepy in spots. That bookshop, on the other hand, is just gorgeous and I REALLY wish it were real. Obviously, I’m looking forward to reading about it since that’s as close as I’m going to get.

But the book I really, really, REALLY want to read in this stack is Cat Dragon. I’m hoping it will be a bit of a grown-up version of Ursula K. Le Guin’s Catwings series, because cats with any kind of wings are already irresistible. There are, however, two other books I’m really looking forward to in this stack, The Healing Hippo of Hinode Park – because it’s written by the same author as What You Are Looking For Is In the Library and I loved that, and The Killer Question because that just sounds fascinating.

What’s in your stack that you can’t wait to read?

  1. Wow, that’s a lot of books! I love the cover of Cat Dragon. That’s on my TBR list; I preordered it based mostly on the cover. It doesn’t come out until next week, though, so the book I’m most looking forward to reading from my book haul this week is Harmonic Pleasure by Celia Lake.

  2. Oooh I didn’t know that Riley Sager had a new book out! I have always enjoyed their work as a great easy thriller!
