Some mornings I wake up grumpy, some mornings I let her sleep. Today’s cat picture is obviously of a morning where I woke grumpy up – or she just woke up grumpy. Luna generally poses herself adorably, but that was clearly not this day.

She might just be grumpy because we’re not around this weekend. C’est la feline vie – and someone is pissed about it.
It was an excellent reading week this week. Head Cases absolutely blew me away – just at the point where I really need a gritty, absorbing mystery/thriller. Also, my Hugo short story reviews are coming to an end, and for something that started with kind of a whimper, they’re certainly ending with a bang. Whether my opinions agree with the general run of Hugo voters is something we’ll all discover NEXT weekend.
