Fall has certainly FELL around here – and it’s lovely. Admittedly, fall in Atlanta just means that the temps have dropped to the low 80s during the day and the mid 60s at night, but it does mean that the air is marvelously crisp in the evening and there’s always a lovely breeze. We could probably use some rain, but that doesn’t mean I’m looking forward to that part.
My feet are cold at night – my feet are ALWAYS cold – so I’m looking forward to flannel sheet season with great anticipation. OTOH, I could live without the switch from Daylight Saving Time back to Standard Time – even though it brings an extra hour of sleep. Still, that’s only for one night, while the early darkness lasts for FOUR WHOLE MONTHS. 🙁

I’m looking for cool, crisp temperatures so I can wear sweaters and light jackets. I want to be able to use my oven to cook casseroles and soups with abandon!
