Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mama the Fox and Mom Does Reviews!

Are you a scaredy cat when it comes to this scariest of seasons? Does the idea of doing to one of the inevitable haunted houses give you the shivers? Do you face your fears or run away from them as fast as you can?

Or is your greatest fear this season the fear of running out of candy before all the neighborhood kids have gotten their share for Halloween? Or have you planned to skip the whole thing and be elsewhere for the evening? (That second option is looking real good in this household. #sorrynotsorry

What would you do if a black cat crossed your path this Halloween season? I fully admit that I would check for a collar and see if it wanted to come home with me. Lucifer left a void in my heart in more than one way. Although Hecate, with her mostly black tortitude, makes an excellent stand in for Halloween pictures.

What would you do if a black cat crossed YOUR path this Halloween season? Would it be a bad omen or a plea for adoption? Answer in the giveaway widget (alas, poor Rafflecopter, we knew them well) for a chance at one of Reading Reality’s usual prizes, the winner’s choice of a $10 Amazon Gift Card or $10 in books.

For more, hopefully not too scary prizes, be sure to visit the other stops on this hop!

  1. 3. Having had black cats, the kitty would be coming home with me if it didn’t have a human of it’s own.

  2. Contrary to silly superstition, I don’t think black cats are bad luck. If one did cross my path, I would think it just wanted a loving home. And if I couldn’t adopt it, I’d find someone who would.

  3. I love black kitties! If it was friendly I’d probably pet him or her and talk sweetly to it. Thanks and God Bless!

  4. This Scaredy Cat Giveaway Hop sounds like such a playful way to embrace the spooky season—whether you’re bravely facing haunted houses or avoiding them at all costs! I love the idea of a black cat crossing your path being a sign of a new furry friend rather than bad luck.
