Welcome to the Come What May Giveaway Hop, hosted by Mama the Fox and Mom Does Reviews!
This is the hop where the theme is open to a whole lot of temptation. Because that’s what the whole “Come What May” title implies. Anything could be coming this month – and a lot of things already are! Or, at least, could be.
There’s Cinco de Mayo coming on, of course, May 5. Mother’s Day is coming too, this year it’s on May 10 in the U.S. – and a LOT of other countries. Many countries have a day to celebrate mothers, but the dates vary from early February to late December around the world. (Mothering Sunday is celebrated in Britain and Ireland in March, but most of the current/former Commonwealth countries celebrate Mother’s Day the same day as we do here, officially the second Sunday of May.)
But May isn’t just filled with official holidays. There’s “May the 4th Be With You”, the unofficial but widely commemorated Star Wars themed punny holiday. And any number of songs about both the month of May (My favorite is still “The Lusty Month of May”, the song from the play (and movie) Camelot. And of course there are songs with the same concept as the hop theme, including “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge.
Whichever of the above idea tickle your fancy or your funny bone, there’s one May concept that I hope absolutely does not come your way this may. I hope you experience absolutely zero MAYDAYs in your month, or any month at all.
What do you first think of when May pops into your mind? Answer in the widget for your chance at Reading Reality’s usual hop prize, the winner’s choice of a $10 Amazon Gift Card or $10 in Books!
If you’re looking for more May prizes to come YOUR way, be sure to visit the other stops on this hop!

Whatever was meant to happen will happen.

It means that if it destined to be, it will be
Come what may means acceptance of whatever happens.
It makes me think of staying committed and hopeful no matter what challenges or changes come my way.
Whatever is meant to happen will happen, good or bad (but always hoping for the best).

What ever will happen will happen, usually not good
Just carry on, no matter what.
