There’s some of everything in this stack. Some pretty, some cute, some creepy, some curiosity, some anticipation, etc., etc., etc.
In the pretty and pretty cute categories, there’s The Bookshop Book, The Fall Fix Up, Fallen for France, and Rainy Day Bookshop. For creepy there’s The Burn Line, Intercepts, and She’s a Doll. Certainty looks ominous but not creepy the way that The Burn Line does. It’s also the title I’m most curious about. The Bone Door manages to be both creepy and cute!
The book that takes the prize in the anticipation sweepstakes is The Christmas Clue. I looked at it last year when I was putting my Ho-Ho-Ho Readathon list together. It looked perfect except for one small problem. It was not available in the US this time last year, at least not in ebook. Not that the ebook didn’t exist, we just couldn’t buy it over here. Now, I have an eARC and it will be part of this year’s holiday readathon!
