Stacking the Shelves

I wasn’t happy with a couple of the books I planned to read this week, which left me open to the blandishments of others. The grass is always greener inside the “other” book. Sometimes any other book. I was also caught up in a big book for a Library Journal review, which led me to a couple of other interesting possibilities. Certainly a mixed bag of a week. Especially since it seems like the publishers didn’t go back to posting at NetGalley and Edelweiss until Friday.

For Review:
Accidental Abduction (Alien Abduction #1) by Eve Langlais
Any Day Now (Sullivan’s Crossing #2) by Robyn Carr
Baker Street Irregulars: Thirteen Authors with New Takes on Sherlock Holmes edited by Michael A. Ventrella and Jonathan Maberry
Every Trick in the Rook (Birds of a Feather #3) by Marty Wingate
Off Armageddon Reef (Safehold #1) by David Weber

Purchased from Amazon:
The City of Blood (Paris Homicide #3) by Frédérique Molay
Crossing the Line (Paris Homicide #2) by Frédérique Molay
The Mistletoe Murder and Other Stories by P.D. James (review)
The 7th Woman (Paris Homicide #1) by Frédérique Molay

Borrowed from the Library:
Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
Magic Breaks (Kate Daniels #7) by Ilona Andrews
