  1. This year and every year, I am most thankful for my Family, especially my Soulmate/BFF love of my life, husband Todd and our 5 awesome young adult kids who I truly feel lucky to even know, much less have the honor of being their mom and our animal babies.. our cat, our cockatiel and the wildlife animals we feed all year around in our yard. LOVE them all! They are my heaven on earth!

  5. This September my 6 year old son was diagnosed with Burkitt’ s Lymphoma. Obviously this by itself is not what I am thankful for, but it is the reason for all my thankfulness this year none the less. I am thankful that we caught it when we did, if his tumor would have gotten any bigger my family wouldn’t be celebrating at all this year, instead we would be mourning. I am thankful for the overwhelming amount of support we have gotten from our family, friends, and community. And lastly but not leastly I am grateful that my boys and I are a strong enough family to make it through so far!

  6. The chance to see my uncle one last time (he’s dying of mercury poisoning) and my second cousin one last time (she’s got Parkinsons and can’t travel anymore), on Thanksgiving.

  7. I’m grateful for my health, my family and the comfortable life I have in my retirement. I’m looking forward to celebrating my 50th wedding anniversary next year!

  8. My mom. She’s helped me out so much with not working then having to have surgery. I don’t know what I would have done without her.

  15. I am greatful for my sisters and brother, my daughter and my 8 grandkids that we grew closer together then apart after the tragic events over the last couple years

  16. I’m most thankful for my hubby. A year or so ago, my sister-in-law, myself, and a couple of my nieces were talking about relationships. My SIL stated something like my hubby and I will probably be married 500 years and then laughed. I smiled and said “500 years wouldn’t be long enough” It hasn’t always been easy but it’s definitely been worth it!!

  17. I’m grateful for all my family that is here with me. I’m grateful that we’ve been blessed enough to have a home big enough to fit us all in and that we’ll actually all be able to be together.

  18. As a parent of two daughters with special needs, I am thankful for a healthy family this year ( so far ).

  19. This year, I am most thankful for my family and friends. Some have had serious health scares recently, and it causes me to realize just much they mean to me.

  20. This Thanksgiving, I’m actually most grateful that I was physically, and mentally, able to attend it at all. (We celebrated early, yesterday to be exact, because we have two nurses in our extended family and part of that job is that they’re assigned to work on alternate major holidays; Both were on for Thanksgiving this year…but the good news is, they’ll both be off for Christmas.) I have a horrifically painful condition caled degenerative disk disease in my spine — and the clue is right there in the name, “degenerative,” meaning the older I get, the worse my back will get, so I have to make the most of the days I do feel well enough to go out. It’s really tough to be permanently physically disabled at age 27. I love going to Thanksgiving every year and seeing all my new little baby cousins (six kids under the age of ten!)…but at the same time our growing extended family is a reminder that because I’m broken, I’ll never be able to have a husband or children of my own. So I’m also extremely thankful that I was feeling mentally tough enough to go, you know? Just in a happy good place, currently winning my battle with depression. I had a great time! The food was delicious, the company was fantastic, the kids were entertaining. It was perfect. Of course, now I’m back home and in bed and in loads of pain from the effort, but I can happily say it was all worth it.

I can’t wait to do it all again at Christmas!

Thank you for this giveaway! And I hope your Thanksgiving celebration next week is even more fun than mine already was. ๐Ÿ™‚

  41. I am thankful for modern medicine this thanksgiving. Because of modern medicine my Granny has been kept alive for 14 years when they gave her 5. Because of modern medicine my Dad has been able to live for and extra 5 years, because of dialysis. Because of cancer research, drugs and radiation my mother in law would most likely not be with us this year also. My life would be so much dimmer without these people and the rest of my family so I am thankful for modern medicine this year.
