The Sunday Post AKA What’s on my (Mostly Virtual) Nightstand 9-15-19

Sunday Post

It’s fair and festival season here in the Atlanta area, or at least it feels like it. The County Fair is this week, the Fall Festival in the next ‘burb over is next weekend, and the one in the ‘burb we used to live in is the one after that. And it’s supposed to be in the mid-90s this week. That is NOT fall weather, or at least not to me. I’ve lived a few places where that might qualify as “Indian Summer” but that term implies that there was a cool stretch after summer sorta/kinda ended. Which it just hasn’t here yet. I’m listening to a book about global warming – among other disasters – right now and I’m definitely feeling the heat around here!
