Fabulous Fall Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Fabulous Fall Giveaway Hop, hosted by Review Wire Media and Chatty Patty’s Place!

Fall is not exactly fabulous here yet. From my office window I can see that there are hints of the leaves turning, but the full splendiferous display is yet to come. Probably this time next month. But that’s the South for you.

On the other hand, this week’s temperatures look to be in the 70s and NOT the 80s. But into each life a little rain must fall, and here that’s going to be the entire week – explaining the drop in temperature. Also Sally is coming. Hurricane Sally that is. She’s supposed to still be fairly furious even by the time she gets this far inland – on Friday. We’ll see. Or not, depending on how thick the sheets of rain turn out to be.

On the whole, it sounds like a good week to stay home and curl up with a cup of tea or two, a snuggly cat or three, and  a good book or four – or more of all of the above.

What’s your favorite thing to do on a sopping wet fall day? Answer in the rafflecopter for a chance at your choice of a $10 Amazon Gift Card or a book of the same amount from the Book Depository. This giveaway is open anywhere the Book Depository ships!

  1. My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is to read, have a movie marathon and nap, noy necessarily in that order. Thanks so much for participating in the Hop!

  2. I LOVE the rain! We so rarely get it in the high desert of SoCal and when we do get it, I stand out in it for a few minutes, I watch it from my bedroom window with the windows wide open. Thank you for the giveaway.

  3. My favourite thing to do in Fall is read. I love reading a good mystery or thriller novel, and enjoying a hot cup of tea (and maybe some buttery Walker shortbread cookies) to go with it. Good way to spend a day.

  4. Well, it used to be that I would say curl up by the fire with a cup of tea and a book. But since the pandemic I have discovered Elder Scrolls Online and I am addicted. It seriously has cut into my reading time.

  5. Fall is basically summer in the SF Bay Area, hot, dry, and fire season, so no rain here yet. However, when we do get rain, I just want to curl up and read.
