Love is in the Air Giveaway Hop

Welcome to the Love is in the Air Giveaway Hop, hosted by Review Wire Media!

There are holidays, and then there are ‘Hallmark Holidays’. You know the ones I mean, the ones that seem like they exist solely for the purpose of selling greeting cards. Groundhog Day is actually on the list of Hallmark Holidays, and I’m suddenly wondering what those cards look like and who one sends them to? The people who take care of Punxsutawney Phil?

It seems as if Valentine’s Day may be falling into the ‘Hallmark Holiday’ zone – along with Sweetest Day, which I remember my parents making a big deal of back in the day, but not a holiday you hear much about anymore. Except in the greeting card aisle of the grocery store, of course.

What do you think? Is Valentine’s Day in danger of falling into the ‘Hallmark Holiday’ zone – or is is still a big deal for you and yours? Answer in the rafflecopter for your chance at a bit of love and/or cheer from Amazon, courtesy of Reading Reality.

  1. *Note – I follow you on instagram as @oldblueeyes070 I think I made a mistake on the rafflecopter but not sure.

  2. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and have never celebrated valentines day

  3. It doesn’t mean a lot to me personally but it’s nice to see some people get into the spirit and enjoy expressing their love for each other.

  4. Hallmark holiday. I think it is a great holiday for single people dating or newlyweds but not so much for people married 20+ years.

  5. Love it if you have someone special it usually means a day to show your special someone how you feel

  6. I think it’s romantic. My husband and I have been together for about 20 years now and we always make a special evening of it (the day before the Holiday). We celebrate early and avoid the dinner crowds!

  7. It means something to me, we don’t go big but always have a nice dinner at home (take out or home cooked) and I always make something heart shaped for dessert.

  8. I’m not into romance so it doesn’t really matter to me, but I do love all of the chocolate and festive sweets and pink decor.

  9. I view Valentine’s Day as a mix of a day to celebrate love and friendship and a Hallmark holiday!

  10. Valentine’s Day is just a day to spend time with each other and our kids now. We exchange gifts and eat dinner together.
